The night before NecronomiCon descends on Providence to celebrate the 125th birthday of H.P. Lovecraft, we will gather in Aurora for a macabre welcoming party, featuring author-inspired readings, an open mic for weird fan fiction, and ethereal performances by otherworldly bands, including Phemale, ØXØMØ, and LVMMVX.

When: Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 6 pm-midnight

Where: Aurora, 276 Westminster St.

Admission: Free before 9 pm, $5 afterward

Bring your anything you’ve written that’s dark, horrific and disturbing. Channel your inner H.P. Lovecraft. We all know he’s down there!
