Hello dear Frequency peeps,  Here’s an email we received today from Frequencier Zeely Denmat, now an MFA student at UMass Boston:

I am writing today to inform you of a newly founded literary journal, Topography Magazine, that is currently accepting submissions for our upcoming December issue… I have taken Frequency workshops before and thought that this journal might be a great opportunity for writers in the Providence community. I am hoping that you might be interested in spreading the word about Topography to the writers at Frequency. Our mission statement and submission information is below. Please let me know if you have any questions. Many thanks!

Mission Statement:
Topography explores the way in which our sense of place, where we are and where we come from, informs the writers we become. Our geographical and cultural identities, like topography itself, are multi-dimensional. The magazine publishes exceptional fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that centers around developing a sense of place in America.
Do you have a personal essay, short story, or poem, that explores sense of place? If so, please submit your work to:  topographymagazine@gmail.com
Our deadline for submissions is November 16th. Please note that our magazine cannot offer compensation at this time.

All our best,
Zeely Denmat
