Monday, February 1, 2016 7pm
Having a book published in today’s market can seem like an impossible dream. But, in reality, getting your book idea into shape and into print can hinge on just the right advice from a pro. Do you need an agent? Should you connect with an editor, cover artist or designer? What about e-books and self-publishing? Nationally-known author and travel journalist Peter Mandel will pass on the insider’s tips aspiring writers need to know in order to create a marketable first book and get it into the hands of the right gatekeepers in the publishing world.
Peter Mandel is the author of eleven books, including children’s and humor books. He is also a regular contributor to The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, and The Providence Journal.
This program is free and open to all. Weaver Library is located at 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, RI. Questions? Call 401-434-2453.
