Interested in editing a literary magazine?

Birkensnake, a fantastic journal publishing fiction in very handsome hand-bound editions (edited by former Providence residents Joanna Ruocco and Brian Conn), is seeking editors for its next issue. Here’s what they say:

We want to entrust several pairs of strangers with editing Birkensnake 6. Strangers to each other. We do not yet know how many pairs. Each pair will assemble its own version of Birkensnake 6, and we, sometimes editors but in this case merely publishers, will publish all of these versions, together and individually, as Birkensnake 6.

If you’re interested, more information is on their website, here. You’ll need to submit a note by July 15 letting them know of your interest.
